This is a great opportunity to join a niche and well-established practice in Warrington which is focused on helping individuals, families, and businesses with their tax, trusts, and accounting affairs.

You will be joining a firm which offers strategic advice and a friendly environment that enables its clients to protect their wealth for future generations.

Your new role

Working closely with the Tax Director as part of a team that delivers high-quality tax services to a range of both Personal, Trust, and Corporate Clients, you will be an integral member of the firm with a view to career progression, whilst building on existing technical skills and client relationships.

  • Completion of UK and Jersey Personal Tax Returns for your own portfolio of clients consisting of HNWIs / Partners, Directors, and Self-Employed.
  • Completion of Trust Returns
  • Completion of Corporation Tax Returns for both UK and Jersey Resident companies
  • Completion of P11D’s and ATED returns
  • Dealing with general queries from clients and HMRC
  • Assisting with advisory work
  • Managing own WIP and raising fee notes for portfolio of clients
  • Liaising with other departments within the office.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Good working knowledge of personal tax and trusts, ideally CTA qualified, but could be qualified by experience
  • Knowledge of CCH Central an advantage
  • Proactive at managing existing client relationships and developing new ones
  • Adaptable, organised, and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Flexible approach to work – a pitch in to support other departments if needed
