Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager in Manchester. You will manage a portfolio of high-value private clients, advising on Income Tax, CGT and IHT and supporting business owners through acquisitions and disposals.

You will build long-term relationships with entrepreneurs and families, develop the Manchester team, and mentor junior staff. A strong private client tax background and professional qualifications are essential.

This isn't one of them.
We're working with an established and ambitious accountancy practice looking for a Private Client Tax Manager who wants to work with successful individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners - and become the person they turn to when important financial decisions need to be made.
You'll have the opportunity to build genuine client relationships, take ownership of your portfolio and get involved in the more interesting side of private client tax.

Your work could include:

• Managing a portfolio of high-value private clients.
• Advising on Income Tax, CGT and IHT.

Rather than simply preparing a return and moving on, you'll be encouraged to understand the bigger picture:

You'll then help them navigate the tax implications.

Who are we looking for?

You may already be a Private Client Tax Manager, an Assistant Manager ready to step up, or an ambitious Senior looking for a bigger opportunity.
You'll ideally have:

• Strong UK private client tax experience.
• ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience advising HNW individuals, entrepreneurs or business owners.
• Strong Income Tax, CGT and IHT knowledge.
• Exposure to trusts, estates or succession planning.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Confidence dealing with senior clients.
• A genuine interest in advisory work.
• Commercial curiosity and a desire to build a strong client network.
