Job summary

You will communicate with clients, maintain accurate files, track deadlines, and raise queries when details are unclear, ensuring timely completion and high-quality records.

Qualifications

• Experience handling private client tax work and managing tasks through to completion.
• A sound understanding of preparing and reviewing tax-related information.
• The ability to organise a portfolio of work and manage competing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing client records and supporting documents.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and colleagues.
• Confidence using financial and client information to resolve routine queries.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of private client tax work, keeping tasks organised and progressing to agreed deadlines.
• Prepare and review tax-related information to support accurate client submissions and clear records.
• Work with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to gather information needed for private client tax matters.
• Communicate with clients to request documents, answer routine queries and provide clear updates on progress.
• Maintain accurate client files and working papers so information is easy to review and retrieve.
• Track key dates and outstanding actions to help ensure work is completed on time.
• Review client information carefully and raise queries where details are incomplete or unclear.
