PRO TAX is seeking a Private Client Tax Director in Manchester (or Liverpool) to lead a high-net-worth private client tax practice, delivering bespoke planning and advisory services for complex cases.

You will manage a diverse portfolio, develop the private client tax team, build strong client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to firm growth through strategic tax insights and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA qualified with significant experience in private client tax.
• Proven track record of managing a high-performing team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle complex tax issues.

Package: £80,000 - £110,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are currently working with a leading accountancy firm in the North who are looking to make a strategic hire in their private client tax team.

This firm have ambitious growth plans across the UK and in the North, servicing an interesting, complex and engaging portfolio of HNWIs, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and Trusts.

Your new role:

• Your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, providing bespoke tax planning and advisory services. You will be the go-to expert for complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and optimising tax positions for our clients.
• Lead and develop the private client tax team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and their families.
