Job Description

What will you be doing?
As Tax Compliance Hub Manager you will be part of the private client tax team working on tax advisory and tax compliance services for a wide range of clients on your portfolio.

As a Manager, your responsibilities will include among others
  • Client work including managing HMRC enquiries, taking day to day responsibility for a portfolio of compliance clients. Monitoring time limits and elections, reviewing HMRC correspondence, assisting Partners in more complex planning/ advisory projects. Billing and monitoring budgets, ensuring client deadlines are met. Delegating tasks and reviewing work.
  • Ensuring relevant client deadlines are met and ensuring procedures are adhered to
  • Coaching and training more junior members of the team/ trainees
  • Providing support to other staff members and Partners on chargeable and non-chargeable work when required

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) CTA and/or ACA
  • Significant private client tax experience gained within the professional services and or industry
  • Be a technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people
  • Appetite to grow your business development skills
  • Strong IT skills
