Job Description

As an Associate Director, you will have overall responsibility for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field. You will lead and manage client relationships, aiming to develop new business from your current client base and beyond, as well as contributing to staff management.

We are looking for candidates based in Manchester, Leeds, or Harrogate, with a requirement to be in the office three times a week for collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent client service and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Achieving the Exceptional Advisor competencies and managing client relationships.
• Contributing to business strategy to prioritize client needs and ensure commercial viability.
• Marketing and business development within your expertise area.
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures to manage risk.
• Conducting financial performance reviews with direct reports.
• Managing WIP and debtor policies.
• Managing daily operations of your team and conducting development reviews.
• Mentoring and developing talent according to the firm's talent program.

Qualifications

• Significant private client tax experience within a professional practice.
• Knowledge of private client tax and professional advice.
• Experience in tax planning and advisory projects.
• Ability to manage and develop client relationships.
• Proven experience in developing new business and maintaining profitable client relationships.
• Team and project management skills.

Professional Qualifications

• Qualified Tax Advisor and/or Chartered Accountant.
