Job Description

Job purpose

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol.

This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients - individuals, trusts, private companies, and family offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portfolio of clients including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Identify advisory opportunities for clients.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular contact with the client team.
  • Be aware of cross-referral opportunities within the firm.
  • Follow Evelyn Partners procedures, considering institute and HMRC guidance.
  • Meet department KPIs around chargeable hours, billing, and recovery targets.

Qualifications

  • Ability to plan workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Good written communication skills for drafting correspondence with clients and HMRC.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff.
  • Ability to supervise staff and support Directors.

Education and Experience

  • Experience within a professional services firm.
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and some exposure to planning/advisory work.
