Job summary

PEM seeks an exceptional Assistant Director to join our Private Clients team in the UK. You will advise high net worth individuals and families, delivering bespoke tax planning solutions and leading advisory work alongside Directors and Partners.

This role focuses on growth, client care, and innovation, not compliance, with a hybrid working pattern across our Cambridge and Milton offices and the option to work from home.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification with post-qualification experience in personal tax.
• Significant experience in private client tax advisory and planning.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with high net-worth clients.
• Proven track record in developing new business and managing multiple projects.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for junior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects for high net-worth individuals and families.
• Deliver bespoke tax planning and innovative strategies for clients.
• Collaborate with Directors and Partners to support the 2030 strategy.
• Manage multiple complex client matters and mentor junior staff.
