Job summary

NPA Recruit is seeking a Private Client Solicitor for a Preston-based role. The position requires handling wills, estate planning, and probate matters, with 3-4 days in the office per week.

You will draft wills and trusts, advise on inheritance planning, coordinate document execution with clients, and ensure confidentiality while providing compliant private client services. A competitive salary and a signing bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum 3 Years PQE within Private Client work.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to assess their legal needs in wills, estate planning, and probate.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives per legal requirements.
• Assist with estate management, including updates, tax advice, and inheritance planning.
• Coordinate execution and administration of documents with clients and beneficiaries.
• Stay informed on laws to provide accurate advice in private client matters.
• Resolve estate disputes through negotiation, mediation, or court representation.
• Protect client confidentiality and maintain ethical standards.
• Collaborate with legal and financial professionals for comprehensive services.
