Were recruiting a Private Client Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to step into a senior role within a long-established and highly respected law firm based in Buckinghamshire. This position offers the chance to inherit a full, loyal caseload from a departing solicitor and take the lead within a busy, well-run department.
Youll join a firm with multiple offices across the region and a deep-rooted presence in the local community known for delivering trusted advice on Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and Estate Planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor ready to take the next step and lead a department, with full autonomy and support.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the departments senior Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, including:
Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
Handling Probate and full estate administration
Advising on Trusts, inheritance tax, and IHT planning
Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
Drafting associated legal documents and handling sensitive client matters
Managing files from instruction to completion
Providing high-quality, empathetic client service
Supporting the wider team and contributing to business development
To thrive in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3 years PQE in Private Client law
Strong technical skills across Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and IHT
A professional, friendly and empathetic approach to client care
Confidence managing files independently from start to finish
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
Ability to commute reliably to the office or plan to relocate before start
Competitive salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
