The Firm My client is a forward-thinking and well-established law firm with a strong presence across the Midlands. With over 200 staff across five offices, they pride themselves on being innovative, people-focused, and collaborative. Their Private Client team is at the heart of the business, working closely with other departments to provide seamless, joined-up legal solutions to a diverse client base. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen at their Leicester office for a Senior Associate to lead the Private Client offering locally and help shape the continued development of the department. You’ll be involved in:

• Leading the Leicester-based Private Client team, supporting and supervising colleagues.
  
  
• Managing a broad caseload of private client work, including estate planning, Wills and LPAs, and trust and estate administration.
  
  
• Collaborating with colleagues across offices to deliver joined-up solutions for clients.
  
  
• Playing a key part in shaping strategy and contributing to the department’s vision and growth.
  
  
• Taking part in business development activities, networking events, and relationship-building.
  
  
• Ensuring high-quality client service and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  
  

You

This role would suit a driven and experienced Private Client solicitor who’s looking for leadership responsibilities and a long-term career move. Ideally, you will:

• Be a qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
  
  
• Have around 10 years' PQE in private client work (though applications from those with slightly less experience will still be considered).
  
  
• Bring strong technical knowledge and experience managing a varied caseload.
  
  
• Be confident supervising and mentoring junior team members.
  
  
• Enjoy client interaction and be comfortable handling high-value or complex matters.
  
  
• Be proactive about business development and networking.
  
  
• Be a collaborative team player who wants to be part of shaping the team’s future.
