Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor – This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading national law firm with clearly defined career progression, an excellent quality of work and the chance to join a team of like-minded and forward-thinking professionals. This is a great opportunity to join a leading practice in the West Midlands, working in a large private client team with excellent exposure to high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
  1. The successful solicitor can look forward to running a varied caseload including Wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estates.
  2. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills together with a strong client service ethic and will be keen to take a pro-active approach to business development and developing your reputation within the marketplace.
  3. Experienced in and confident applying all basic legal principles within private practice, you will have the ability to complete files (from start to finish) with minimal supervision.
  4. Keep up to date with developments within the law and share knowledge with others. You must be able to advise clients on most matters within the practice area independently.
  5. You will have undertaken at least one six-month seat in Private Client and will ideally be starting to work to become STEP qualified.
