Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive
Location: Derby
Salary: £38,000 to £65,000
PQE: Minimum 2 years
Hours: 9:00am – 17:15

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving Wills, Trusts & Probate team in Derby, where you’ll manage a varied and fulfilling caseload. You’ll be supported by a collaborative and experienced team, with room to grow and make your mark.
You’ll be responsible for:

1. Drafting Wills and advising clients on estate planning
2. Preparing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
3. Administering estates, including inheritance tax and grant applications
4. Handling Deputyship applications
5. Managing the affairs of elderly and vulnerable clients
6. Building lasting client relationships based on trust and empathy
7. Contributing to the development and success of the team

You

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEx) with at least 2 years’ PQE in Private Client work, looking for a role where your knowledge, compassion, and initiative will be truly valued.
You’ll also bring:
