Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer (3PQE+)
I'm working with a respected Legal 500 firm that is growing and looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer to join their friendly team in Bristol. If you enjoy working closely with clients on estate administration, Trusts, Wills, tax planning, and Lasting Powers of Attorney, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be a key part of the team, offering expert advice tailored to each client’s needs. Your role will involve handling client matters, supervising support staff, staying up to date with legal changes, and providing training for fee earners.
You’ll also participate in business development and ensure financial best practices, all within regulatory requirements. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and client-focused service.
The firm prides itself on being a bit different. They are well-known in the Bristol legal market for excellent service and for how they look after their people. Work-life balance is genuinely supported here.
Ideally, you’ll be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3PQE or an FCILEx with expertise in Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and estate and Trust Administration. Experience with Trust work and a strong understanding of tax matters (including IHT, CGT, and Income Tax) is a plus. A STEP qualification (or willingness to work towards one) would be advantageous, and prior team management experience is a bonus.
This is a full-time role, with office hours from 9-5. You’ll be based in Bishopston, with the option for hybrid working after probation.
On offer is a comprehensive benefits package, including a minimum of 25 days' holiday (with potential for more), flexible and hybrid working options, pension contributions, death-in-service benefits, and annual bonuses. Support for professional development, discounted legal services, childcare vouchers, season ticket loans, health cash plans, and access to a virtual GP and counselling services are also provided. Social perks include summer and Christmas events, long service awards, and opportunities to join committees focused on charity, diversity, wellbeing, and staff development.
If this sounds like the kind of firm and role you’d love to be part of, reach out!
