Job Description:

Opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a local practice based in South Lakeland, serving a local client base. This role is suitable for an experienced Solicitor seeking management responsibilities or an existing Head of Department/Partner looking to relocate to an established firm in the South Lakeland area. There is potential for partnership as the current Partner plans to step back in the future.

Despite its traditional roots, the firm has recently adopted new systems enabling remote work and flexibility. However, you will need to be available for client visits and meetings at the office.

The role involves a variety of work, from basic wills and probate to complex trusts, estates, Court of Protection, and LPAs. The client base includes local clients and high-net-worth individuals from the Lake District, including agricultural clients.

Business development skills are desirable, as the firm relies on proactive solicitors to generate new work. Work/life balance is prioritized, with no expectation of long hours, though occasional evening surgeries may be required.
