Job summary

Abacus Careers in Belfast is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (2–4 PQE) to join a prestigious Belfast-based firm. You will handle high-value matters for HNW clients, with a focus on bespoke estate and succession planning.

You will advise on wills, trusts, and tax matters, while building strong client relationships and working closely with senior solicitors and partners in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in private client law (2–4 years PQE).
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or high-value estates and trusts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear, practical advice.
• Proactive, client-focused approach with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on succession planning, inheritance tax and wealth preservation strategies.
• Drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
• Administering complex estates and handling associated tax matters.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and professional advisers.
