Job summary

Yorkshire Pie Company is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Qualified Fee Earner to join its established private client team. You will handle a varied caseload including wills, LPAs, and estate administration, with client contact and responsibility from instruction to completion.

The role offers flexibility with office base and requires 3-4 years' PQE, strong communication skills, and a willingness to develop business and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or Qualified Fee Earner with 3–4 years of Private Client experience
• Solid experience across Wills, LPAs, estate administration and trusts (ideally)
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage own caseload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using technology in a paper-lite environment
• Client-facing with ability to build long-term relationships
• Keen to get involved in business development and networking
• Able to support and guide junior team members

Responsibilities

• Drafting and advising on Wills and LPAs
• Managing simple and complex estate administration
• Advising on and drafting Lifetime Trusts
• Managing own caseload from instruction to completion
• Supporting and supervising more junior fee earners
• Keeping clients updated and progressing work efficiently
• Taking responsibility for billing, time recording and credit control
• Building strong relationships with clients and external organisations
• Getting involved in business development and networking across branches
