Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is assisting an established law firm in Ipswich to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy team.

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, build strong client relationships and take ownership of your work while contributing to the firm’s success.

Qualifications

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with at least 3 years’ PQE.
• Strong technical knowledge across private client work.
• Proactive, commercially minded and team orientated.
• Able to work confidently and independently while delivering a high standard of client care.
• Comfortable taking part in business development and networking.

Job description

An established law firm in Ipswich is looking to welcome an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to its busy and well-established team.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, taking ownership of their work and contributing to the continued success of a supportive department.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.


• Court of Protection applications.


• Estate administration.


• Trust matters.

Alongside managing your own caseload, you will be involved in business development, marketing and networking activities to help strengthen the department’s profile and support the wider firm.

About You

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with at least 3 years’ PQE.


• Strong technical knowledge across private client work.


• Proactive, commercially minded and team orientated.


• Able to work confidently and independently while delivering a high standard of client care.


• Comfortable taking part in business development and networking.

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word is preferred. STEP or SFE qualifications would be advantageous, but are not essential.
