They’re looking for solicitors with a strong technical background who are confident working on complex private client matters and providing high levels of client service to join their private client team. The team is one of the largest and most experienced in Hertfordshire, comprising four partners, one consultant, three senior associates, six solicitors, a court of protection manager, and four legal assistants. They are ranked Tier 1 in Legal and Band 1 in Chambers HNW.

The department caters to Hertfordshire families and appeals to wealthy clients from London and the UK, especially those seeking a specialist trusts team.

Growing and nurturing future talent is a priority. They support solicitors in developing their specialisms and skills. As one of the largest teams in Hertfordshire, they are renowned for their training, supervision, and support. Half of the lawyers and three of the four partners trained and qualified with the firm.

The essentials:

• A minimum of 2 years PQE with a high level of private client technical knowledge.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
• A client-centred focus, taking responsibility for service levels and proactively enhancing client relationships.
• A motivated, positive, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good team player, including liaising with other teams.
• IT skills – experience with probate case management software would be beneficial.
• A private client-specific accreditation or qualification such as STEP or SFE would be ideal.
