Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join Stamford, Lincolnshire, at Partner level, to shape the department and drive growth across the region.

You will lead on wills, trusts, LPAs and tax planning for high-net-worth clients, mentor the team, manage client relationships and contribute to business development.

This is a strategic role requiring a commercial mindset, evident leadership, and a track record of growing private client practices.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Private Client specialist with technical excellence and commercial awareness.
• Experience in succession and inheritance tax planning for agricultural and business clients.
• Expertise in complex wills, LPAs, trusts and taxable estate administration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highquality advice on wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, succession and tax planning.
• Provide exceptional service to HNW individuals, agricultural clients and business owners.
• Produce fee income in line with agreed targets.

• Maintain strong financial control, including billing and cashflow management.

Private Client Solicitor (Partner) - Stamford, Lincolnshire

The Role

The successful Partner will bring strong experience across a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

• Complex wills
• Succession and inheritance tax planning for individuals, agricultural clients and business owners
• Administration of taxable and complex estates
• Creation of trusts
• Lasting Powers of Attorney

You will be confident, proactive and exceptionally wellorganised, able to manage a varied caseload while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Leadership & Growth

This Partner will play a central role in the development of the Private Client practice, contributing to:

• Departmental strategy and service delivery
• Team growth, supervision and mentoring
• Business development, networking and relationshipbuilding
• Enhancing client experience and strengthening referrer networks

Location

Primarily based at the Stamford office, with regular travel to nearby offices across the region. A full UK driving licence and access to a suitably insured vehicle are essential.
