An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded private client team in Plymouth, Devon. The firm is seeking an ambitious individual to join its established private client team, providing high-quality legal services in Wills, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, and

Drafting Deeds of Variation.

The Role: As a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in the private client team, you will manage a caseload advising clients on various matters related to Wills, Estate Administration, LPAs, Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, and Deeds of Variation. You will receive support from a dedicated team of Paralegals and Administrators, enabling you to focus on delivering excellent service to clients in the private client sector.

This role requires flexibility, as you will provide cover at both the North Hill and Plymstock offices in Plymouth, with the option to work from home part of the week after training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Estate Administration, LPAs, Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, and Deeds of Variation.
• Provide expert advice to private client clients, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and care in all communications.
• Collaborate with a team of Paralegals and Administrators to deliver high-quality, timely legal services within the private client area.
• Work across the firm's North Hill and Plymstock offices in Plymouth, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
• Maintain strong relationships with private client clients, team members, and partners while ensuring confidentiality and trust.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in private client matters such as Wills, Estate Administration, Inheritance Tax Planning, and Trusts.
• Previous experience working for a reputable law firm is essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and empathetic advice to private client clients.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
• A passion for delivering exceptional client service in the private client sector and managing confidential information with care.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
