Job summary

BCL Legal seeks a Private Client Solicitor (NQ-5) to join its Newcastle private client team. The role focuses on advising business owners, high-net-worth individuals and families on wills, estate planning, and related probate matters in a commercial North East environment.

The successful candidate will have 0-5 PQE, be STEP qualified or working towards it, and look to develop a long-term career in private client law within a respected firm.

Qualifications

• Must have private client experience and be aiming for STEP qualification.
• Experience drafting wills, including business assets and discretionary trusts.
• Involvement in inheritance tax planning and probate/estate administration.

PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR (NQ-5) - NEWCASTLE

An established commercial law firm is seeking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor with between 0-5 PQE to join its Newcastle-based Private Client team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a highly regarded private client team handling a broad range of high-quality matters.

You will be responsible for:

• Advising business owners, high-net-worth individuals and their families.
• Drafting wills, including those involving business assets, life interest trusts and discretionary trusts.
• Inheritance tax planning, including business property relief.
• Probate and estate administration.
• Court of Protection matters.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney for both personal and business affairs.

You will be an ambitious solicitor with Private Client experience who is either STEP qualified or working towards qualification and is keen to build a long-term career in private client law within a commercial legal environment.
