Job Description

The Private Client Solicitor will be:

1. Advising clients on capital tax planning, trusts, asset protection, and succession issues.
2. Drafting Wills, powers of attorney, and managing estate administration.
3. Creating and altering trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
4. Managing high-value estates, including those involving agricultural and business assets.
5. Supervising junior team members and participating in client-facing events.
6. Working closely with the Partners in the team.

The Successful Applicant

The Private Client Solicitor should be:

1. A solicitor with 5+ years PQE in private client law.
2. Experienced in capital tax planning, trusts, and estate administration.
3. STEP qualified or working towards qualification.
4. Proficient in drafting wills and powers of attorney.
5. Capable of managing high-value estates and supervising junior staff.
6. Ties to Leeds.
