A reputable law firm in Grantham, part of the legal top 500, is currently recruiting for a Private Client Solicitor in Wills, Trust, and Probate to join their private client department on a permanent basis. Job Title: Private Client Solicitor (2+ years PQE)

Location: Grantham.

Job type: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge in wills, probate, and trusts, including the administration of estates, from basic estates falling below the IHT threshold to more valuable and taxable estates, tax treatment, creation of trusts, and intestacy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice on basic and complex wills, LPAs, and power of attorney matters.
2. Manage own caseload on private client matters.
3. Handle probate and estate administrations.
4. Plan for estate and tax matters related to divorce.
5. Set up discretionary trusts and life interest trusts.
6. Engage in business development to attract new clients.
7. Provide support to junior team members.
