Job description

Private Client Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, Shropshire, £Competitive Salary (DOE) - You will be joining a team who is committed to providing personalised solutions in wills, trusts, and estates, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and client satisfaction. JOB REF:9113.


My client is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience to join their valued team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload encompassing all aspects of wills, trusts, and estates, while actively engaging in business development initiatives to expand our client base.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Manage a comprehensive range of private client matters, including the drafting of wills, establishment and administration of trusts, and the administration of estates.
  2. Provide expert legal advice on complex tax planning, inheritance tax, and estate planning strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for further assistance.
  4. Actively participate in business development activities, including networking, seminars, and marketing initiatives, to attract new clients and enhance the firm's reputation.
  5. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  6. Stay abreast of developments in private client law, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  1. A minimum of 6 years' PQE in private client law, with a strong focus on wills, trusts, and estates.
  2. In-depth knowledge of tax planning, inheritance tax, and estate administration.
  3. Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and pragmatic advice.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.
  6. Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff members.
