Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client lawyer to join a friendly, supportive team in Dumfries. You will manage your own caseload, handling wills, powers of attorney, executries and trusts, with room to get involved in Adults with Incapacity work if desired.

Ideally you will have Private Client experience and the ability to build strong client relationships. STEP qualification is welcomed, with support available to pursue it.

Qualifications

• Private Client experience is essential.
• Experience managing wills, powers of attorney, executries and trusts preferred.
• Willingness to develop in Adults with Incapacity work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, executries and trusts.
• Develop client relationships and provide proactive legal advice.
• Opportunity to expand into Adults with Incapacity work if interested.

Ideally you will already have good Private Client experience and be comfortable managing your own matters and building strong relationships with clients. STEP qualification would be welcomed, as would someone currently working towards it, however support is available if this is something you would like to pursue.
