A leading legal recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Legal Recruitment Consultant in Colchester. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload in estate administration and Wills, ideally possessing a strong background as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with partnership potential. This role offers a hybrid working model, balancing office work with remote opportunities, and invites experienced professionals in the legal sector to grow within a friendly and ambitious team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' PQE is required.
• Strong technical knowledge in Wills, Probate, LPAs, and estate administration.
• Proactive attitude with the ambition to grow into a partnership.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload including estate administration and intestacy cases.
• Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills.
• Providing guidance and support for clients and attorneys.

Hybrid Working: Office-based with up to 1 day WFH

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive looking to take the next step in your career?

The Role - What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be managing a varied and interesting caseload, including:

• Estate Administration - Both taxable and non-taxable estates
• Intestacy Cases - Advising and managing the full administration
• Wills & LPAs - Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills
• Active LPA Management - Providing support and guidance to clients and attorneys
• Experience with Trusts and Deputyship matters is advantageous

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years' PQE
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, LPAs, and estate administration
• Self-sufficient with excellent client care, organisation, and communication skills
• Ideally STEP-qualified or working towards it (not essential)
• A team player with a professional, proactive attitude
• Ambition to grow and potentially step into a partnership or leadership role
