Job summary

Black Rock, based in Chichester, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded South Coast team. You will work at the sharp end of high-net-worth advisory work, handling complex estates, tax planning and family wealth matters.

The role offers real progression within a Legal 500 ranked team, with flexible and hybrid working and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years' PQE
• Strong technical grounding in IHT and trust-related matters
• Confident handling complex wills, trusts, and estate planning work
• Commercial, personable, and comfortable advising HNW clients
• Keen to develop long term within a high-performing team

Responsibilities

• Advise HNW individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters, including: Estate and succession planning with a strong tax and wealth focus
• Drafting complex wills and lifetime planning structures
• Trust creation, administration and taxation
• Probate and estate administration, including post-death planning and deeds of variation
• Working closely with accountants, IFAs, and colleagues across the firm
• Building trusted, long-term client relationships and supporting business development
