Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a Private Client Solicitor for its Chatham area office. You will manage wills, probate, trusts, and related matters, with a varied caseload and opportunities for progression in a supportive team.

The role offers a salary of £45,000-£65,000 per annum, typical 9:00am-5:30pm hours, and flexible/hybrid working options. The firm emphasises client focus, compliance, and professional development.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years' PQE in private client law.
• UK private practice experience.
• Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and estate administration.
• Excellent client care, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, tax planning and powers of attorney.
• Advise and support clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and external professionals.
• Keep up to date with changes in private client law and best practice.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm standards.
