Pro-Tax Recruitment seeks a Private Client Tax Senior Manager for the West Midlands. The role combines leadership with expert advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts, overseeing a diverse portfolio and mentoring a talented tax team.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience.
• Extensive Private Client Tax and Trust experience in practice.
• Strong technical expertise in personal tax, trusts, estates, IHT and CGT.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Private Client & Trust Services compliance offering.
• Reviewing Personal and Trust Tax Returns.
• Delivering advisory work across Trusts, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and international tax matters.
• Managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts.
• Leading, mentoring and developing tax team members.
• Managing departmental KPIs, WIP, billing and recoveries.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Supporting business development and growth opportunities.
• Collaborating with Partners on complex tax planning projects.
• Providing technical guidance across the wider team.

As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts, delivering expert advisory services while leading and developing a talented team. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll gain exposure to complex tax planning projects and contribute to the continued growth of a highly respected practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Private Client & Trust Services compliance offering
• Reviewing Personal and Trust Tax Returns

What You'll Need

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience
• Extensive Private Client Tax and Trust experience gained within practice
• Strong technical expertise across personal tax, trusts, estates, IHT and CGT
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering advisory services
• Previous leadership or people management experience
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
• A passion for mentoring, developing and supporting others
