Realm Recruit is helping a respected regional firm in Mansfield recruit a Senior Private Client lawyer to lead and grow the team. You will own an active caseload from day one, supervise juniors, and build referrer relationships across life-time planning, tax, and property teams.

The role offers a 35-hour week with hybrid work, strong promotion prospects, and a culture focused on developing people for long-term leadership.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or Legal Executive with 10+ years’ Private Client experience.
• Strong probate and estate administration experience.
• Able to independently manage a busy Private Client caseload.
• Proven billing and performance track record.
• Business development experience and willingness to develop local referrer relationships.
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Strong organisation and IT skills.
• Commercially aware, practical and hands-on approach.
• Collaborative, supportive personality with the ability to work effectively with junior colleagues.
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience (Desired).
• Trusts and/or Court of Protection experience (Desired).
• Experience advising HNW clients (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Probate and estate administration.
• Inheritance tax planning.
• Wills and succession planning.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Trust matters.
• Some Court of Protection work.
• Supporting the development of the firm’s wider lifetime planning offering.
• Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Developing relationships with IFAs, accountants and other professional referrers.
• Working with other departments to maximise internal referrals.
• Contributing to the longer-term growth strategy for the Mansfield team.
