An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate aiming for partnership or an established Partner to lead and develop a Private Client practice in Leeds city centre. This role offers the unique prospect of being the first Private Client lawyer on the ground, providing the autonomy to establish and grow your own team within a firm known for its collaborative and forward-thinking culture. This position offers a rare chance to make a significant impact within a growing firm, providing the autonomy to shape the Private Client practice in Leeds while being supported by a nationally recognised team.

As the first Private Client lawyer in Leeds, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the firm's presence in the region. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a team from the ground up while working alongside a highly regarded national Private Client practice. You will provide expert legal advice on a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and succession, delivering tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. With a strong focus on business development, you will foster new client relationships and expand the firm’s network in Leeds. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with colleagues across the firm’s national offices to share expertise and deliver a seamless, high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Spearhead the development of the Private Client practice in Leeds, recruiting and mentoring a dedicated team of professionals.
• Client Engagement: Deliver expert legal advice to a diverse clientele, focusing on wills, trusts, estate planning, and related services.
