Private Client Partner / Legal Director – Bristol

My client is seeking to recruit a confident and business development-focused Partner or Legal Director to support the growth of their ambitious Private Client team based in Bristol. You will work directly with a dedicated team to develop and expand the national Private Client practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling non-contentious private client/wealth matters
2. Advising on IHT planning, wills, LPAs, and Trust drafting
3. Advising individuals on lifetime giving and wealth protection
4. Providing pre-sale tax planning advice for shareholders in private limited companies
5. Managing owner-managed business succession planning
6. Advising institutional trustees and executors (including private banks and family offices) on trusteeship and estate administration
7. Administering taxable estates with business, agricultural, and trust assets

You should have significant experience in these areas and a strong local reputation with clients and professional networks. The firm expects you to play a key role in growing the department and enhancing its market presence through proactive business development.
