Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Private Client Partner in London to lead and grow a high‑quality private client and charities practice. You will manage cross‑border estates, trusts and probate matters, while driving business development and mentoring junior lawyers.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern in the City, with a strong platform for growing turnover within an international professional services network. A portable following and solid track record are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with England & Wales admission and track record in private client
• STEP Full Member (TEP) or equivalent
• Portable client following and proven business development capability
• Experience in managing and developing a team
• Contentious probate, advocacy or charity experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage a high‑quality private client portfolio and billing targets
• Lead business development and growth of the department
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers
• Collaborate with Head of Department to expand practice across cross‑referral opportunities
• Oversee cross‑border tax planning, trusts and estate administration
