Job summary

eNL Legal in Nottingham is seeking a Private Client Partner to lead and develop the private client practice. You will have autonomy to shape its direction, strengthen its market presence and build a capable team around you.

You will advise on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and inheritance tax planning; manage complex, high‑value matters; develop new business through your established following and professional connections; and mentor junior lawyers as the practice grows.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Private Client Partner to join a highly regarded law firm in Nottingham, with the opportunity to lead and develop a team and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.

This is a strategic appointment for an established Private Client lawyer with a strong following and excellent connections across the Nottingham and wider East Midlands market. The firm is looking for someone who can bring an existing client base, develop new business opportunities and build a successful private client offering for the future.

The Role

You will take a leading role in developing the private client practice, with the autonomy to shape its direction, strengthen its market presence and build a team around you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on a broad range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and inheritance tax planning.
• Managing complex and high-value client matters, delivering a first-class and commercially focused service.
• Developing new business through your established following and professional connections.
• Building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and professional referrers.
• Leading, mentoring and recruiting members of the team as the practice grows.
• Working with the wider partnership to identify opportunities for growth and develop the firm's presence across the region.

The Candidate
