Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a motivated Private Client Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join its Private Client Department in a busy local practice. You will support fee earners and gain hands-on experience across wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney.

You will work with experienced colleagues to manage the preparation of documents, client communications and case progression in a supportive environment designed to foster long-term development in private client law.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a legal support, assistant or paralegal role (private client experience advantageous)
• Interest in Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Private Client law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of Wills, Trust documentation and private client matters
• Draft and submit Lasting Power of Attorney and Probate applications
• Support administration of estates from start to completion
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
• Manage telephone enquiries and arrange client appointments
• Maintain accurate case records and progress files
• Obtain information from organisations and agencies
• Provide admin and legal support across private client matters
• Deliver excellent client care throughout the process
