Job summary

A Sunderland-based law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their team. This full-time role involves assisting solicitors with private client matters, preparing legal documentation, conducting research, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have a Law Degree or equivalent and previous paralegal experience, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

£28000 - £30000 Per annum

The Role:-

Sunderland based Law Firm are looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a strong team.

Key Responsibilities:-
  • Assist solicitors in managing a caseload of private client matters
  • Prepare legal documentation and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Communicate with clients, both in person and in writing
  • Manage client files and maintain accurate records
  • Attend client meetings and court hearings when required
  • Assist in the administration of trusts and estates
What we are looking for:-
  • Legal qualifications such as a Law Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in private client matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of private client law and procedures
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • IT proficiency, including MS Office and legal software
