Private Client Paralegal

A reputable and client-focused law firm based in Southeast London is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Private Client Paralegal to join its established Wills & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious paralegal with solid experience in private client work—particularly in drafting Wills and taking client instructions.

The Role:

Working closely with experienced solicitors, you will support the team in managing a range of private client matters, with a particular focus on Will drafting. You’ll take initial client instructions, prepare draft Wills, maintain accurate records, and help ensure a smooth and professional client experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Taking clear and comprehensive instructions from clients for Wills
2. Drafting straightforward and complex Wills with minimal supervision
3. Preparing letters, documents, and client correspondence
4. Assisting with Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate matters as required
5. Managing administrative tasks and maintaining case files
6. Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner

Requirements:

• Experience in a Private Client team
• Strong legal drafting and written communication skills
• Confident taking instructions directly from clients
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload
