Job Description: A well-established law firm in West Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the team on a locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review wills, ensuring they reflect the client's wishes and comply with legal requirements.
  • Handle the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate, distributing assets, and resolving any related issues.
  • Advise clients on trust structures, inheritance tax planning, and other aspects of wealth management and preservation.
  • Draft and advise on lasting powers of attorney for property, financial affairs, and health and welfare.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in areas such as wills, probate, trusts, inheritance tax, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
  • In-depth understanding of laws related to estate planning, tax, inheritance, and trusts law.
  • High level of accuracy in drafting documents and reviewing legal files, ensuring all information is correct and compliant.
