Job Description: A well-established law firm in Leeds is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the team on a locum basis ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review wills, ensuring they reflect the client's wishes and comply with legal requirements.
  • Handle the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate, distributing assets, and resolving any related issues.
  • Advise clients on trust structures, inheritance tax planning, and other aspects of wealth management and preservation.
  • Draft and advise on lasting powers of attorney for property, financial affairs, and health and welfare.

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in areas such as wills, probate, trusts, inheritance tax, powers of attorney, and estate administration.

In-depth understanding of laws related to estate planning, tax, inheritance, and trust law.

High level of accuracy in drafting documents and reviewing legal files, ensuring all information is correct and compliant.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and address legal issues and disputes relating to estates, trusts, and wills.
