Legal Assistant, Private Client, c£26,000, Wiltshire

Preferably 2+ years’ administration support in a legal environment. Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm. This is a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Legal Support Assistant to join the Wills, Probate & Estate Planning team. You will assist lawyers in managing their caseloads and provide general administration support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Setting up new files accurately based on lawyer instructions, including obtaining ID from clients and assisting with anti-money laundering, KYC, and compliance procedures.
  2. Preparing draft correspondence from lawyers.
  3. Updating client files in the document management system, ensuring all documentation is recorded and current.
  4. Diary and inbox management, along with team administration support.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven team player with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
