Job summary

Actis Legal in Liverpool is seeking a technically strong Private Client lawyer to lead the local team and develop the practice in the region.

You will handle estate planning, probate, lasting powers of attorney, and tax planning, working with colleagues in corporate, real estate and family to deliver a comprehensive service. The role combines leadership with hands-on client work in a supportive, flexible hybrid environment.

Liverpool/Merseyside – Opportunity to Lead and Develop team.

A professionally managed and well-established law firm is looking to expand Private Client services.

With a thriving Private Client Team already in place elsewhere, this a unique opportunity to lead the local team in Liverpool but with the support and structure already in place.

This a full-service firm, with an interesting mix of clients including successful entrepreneurs, business owners and wealthy individuals.

Instructed on all aspects of private client services, both pre-death and post-death, covering:

• Estate planning, wealth protection and trust advice.
• Probate and Estate administration.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.
• Inheritance tax & Capital gains tax planning

An immediate personal following is NOT essential, but the appointment requires a technically strong lawyer with drive and commercial acumen. You will have immediate support and be part of a wider team that is supportive of each other.

You will work closely with colleagues in the corporate, real estate and family teams on matters requiring multi-disciplinary collaboration and cross referring for business development.

This is a progressive, full-service practice. There is an effective and approachable leadership team which takes pride in both client and staff retention.
