Job summary

RLE Law is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Private Client Department, handling wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate with appropriate supervision. The role offers exposure to estate administration, trusts and Court of Protection matters, with opportunities to develop a broader private client practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate.
• Strong client care skills and a professional approach.
• Good drafting and organisational skills.
• Confidence managing files with supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with solicitors, trainees and support staff.
• Sound judgement for elevating technical or sensitive issues.
• Interest in developing a broader private client practice.
• STEP qualification or willingness to work towards STEP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied private client caseload including wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate.
• Provide professional executor and estate administration work.
• Assist with trusts and Court of Protection matters where appropriate.
• Work under supervision within a supportive team.
• Develop client relationships and professional profile.
