Venn Group is recruiting an experienced Private Client Solicitor for a Plymouth-based role focusing on Probate, Estate Administration and Trust work. You will join a busy Private Client team and handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision, delivering clear, practical advice to clients.

Candidates typically have 3–5 years PQE and strong client communication skills; an organised, professional approach and ability to manage matters efficiently are essential.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years’ PQE in Private Client or equivalent experience.
• Strong practical experience in Probate, Estate Administration and Trust work.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Professional, organised and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied Probate and Estate Administration caseload.
• Advising clients on administration of estates and related legal matters.
• Handling trust creation, administration and ongoing Trust work.
• Preparing and advising on relevant legal documentation.
• Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, trustees and other professionals.
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process.
• Managing matters efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.
