Job description

Our client, a long-established and reputable legal practice, are seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional to provide high-quality legal services to clients across the region.

Position Overview
As a Private Client Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert legal advice and support to clients in matters related to wills, probate, tax and estates. You will manage a diverse caseload, build strong client relationships, and work collaboratively with the firm's successful private client team to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage a caseload covering wills, probate, tax, estate matters
2. Draft, review, and register wills and lasting powers of attorney
3. Administer estates and handle probate work
4. Assist with the appointment of deputies through the Court of Protection
5. Manage elderly clients' financial affairs, including conducting client meetings
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and practical legal advice
7. Contribute to the growth and success of the private client team through effective teamwork and collaboration

Requirements

1. Detailed knowledge and technical expertise in private client matters
2. Proven ability to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality legal services
