Job summary

Purely Recruitment Solutions is assisting our Chippenham client to recruit an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their Chippenham office. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role will handle private client matters and provide client-focused legal advice.

Key duties include taking instructions, drafting documents, liaising with clients and third parties, ensuring billing and Lexcel compliance, and supporting colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in private client law.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Take instructions from clients and advise.
• Communicate with clients in person, by telephone and by letter.
• Draft documents, handle routine correspondence and calls.
• Liaise with third parties on behalf of clients.
• Comply with the office procedures manual and billing processes.
• Prepare accounts and client billing in line with Lexcel standards.
• Use firm systems to open files, input time and maintain records.
