Job description

Private Client Lawyer - Cardiff

Excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor to join a leading regional law firm in their thriving Private Client department.

The role will consist of independently running a caseload as well as assisting the Partner with complex cases. It will also involve some active participation in both practice and business development.

You will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of Private Client matters including, but not limited to:

  1. Wills including providing appropriate tax and estate planning advice;
  2. Administering estates including taxable and non-taxable estates and applying appropriate tax reliefs and providing advice regarding post-death planning;
  3. The creation and registration (where appropriate) of different Powers of Attorney.
  4. The creation and registration of different types of Trusts (including PI Compensation Trusts).

This role would be based in Bristol, with a combination of home and office working (typically working 2 days in the Cardiff office and 3 days from home).

Salary on offer is £35,000 - £40,000.
