Job summary

McKinlay Law in London is seeking a private client solicitor (7+ years PQE) to join an established private client team. You will take over an existing caseload focused on HNW/UHNWI clients, advising on wills, probate, trusts and LPAs, with strong client communication and technical expertise.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement in London and the opportunity to handle high-value private client matters within a prestigious firm.

Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience

Prestigious London law firm with an enviable client base are looking for a private client solicitor (circa 7/8 years’ PQE) to join an established private client team and take over an existing case load. The team acts for HNW and UHNWIs with all areas of private client work including tax, trusts and estates matters.

They are looking for a solicitor with experience in advising clients (ideally HNWIs and individuals with business assets) on a variety of matters including wills, succession planning, probate, general tax planning, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years’ PQE with strong experience in private client work. Demonstrable experience handling wills, probate/estate administration, trusts, LPAs and other private client matters.
• Exceptional communication and client skills
• Strong technical knowledge
• Confident in ability to manage own caseload efficiently
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team
