Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a boutique wealth planner, asset manager, and employee benefits specialist based in London. They are looking to recruit a Private Client IFA Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Intelligent Office.

Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Group Administration Manager, this role will support the Central Administration Team in providing administrative and technical support to client-facing teams. The candidate should be experienced in IFA administration with a strong understanding of Intelligent Office (iO) as a back-office system. The role involves supporting the integration of new teams and training new staff.

Accountabilities

  • Supporting client-facing admin teams with ad-hoc tasks
  • Supporting transition and integration during acquisitions or new adviser onboarding
  • Processing new business and ensuring application completeness
  • Maintaining client data accurately on iO and Volume
  • Preparing documentation for client meetings and using electronic signing tools
  • Ensuring client agreements are signed and records are updated
  • Managing follow-up tasks and monitoring client portfolios
  • Producing valuations and assisting with trades
  • Closing plans and managing income entries

Assist with training and development of new admins, including system training, acting as a buddy, and maintaining training documentation. Also involved in data auditing and system improvement projects.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in a relevant admin role within the financial services sector
  • 2-3+ years’ experience with iO in an IFA admin role
  • Knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and underwriting
  • Experience delivering high-level client service
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Understanding of FCA rules and compliance
  • Relevant industry qualifications are a plus but not essential.
