Job Description:

The Private Clients Financial team is responsible for understanding and reviewing clients' financial objectives, attitude to risk, and personal circumstances, then proposing suitable strategies.

You will be capable of building relationships with both new and existing private clients.

Lead flow for prospective clients will arise from various sources including marketing, events, referrals, partnerships, and professional relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and reviewing clients' financial needs, risk attitudes, personal circumstances, and current investments to propose suitable solutions and strategies.
  • Reviewing existing investment portfolios, producing detailed reviews and proposals to adjust investments considering clients' aims, risk attitude, personal and tax situations. Meeting prospective clients to present solutions.
  • Managing existing investments and reinvesting capital into managed portfolios.
  • Providing regular updates on portfolio changes and performance.
  • Attending review meetings with clients to maintain appropriate investment strategies.
  • Highlighting wealth management opportunities for referral or execution if authorized.
  • Engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs.
  • Presenting and discussing tailored proposals with clients.
  • Converting prospects into clients and increasing assets and revenue.
  • Deepening relationships with existing clients through ongoing engagement.
  • Providing ongoing support and administration.
  • Regularly reviewing clients' circumstances to ensure suitability.
  • Maintaining records of communications.

You should have at least a diploma level 4 qualification, ideally be chartered, and hold CF30 certification.

You should be driven, ambitious, and client-focused.
